Kfarmelki is located in the Kaza of Saida (Sidon) in South Lebanon Muhafazat (governorates) which is one of  eight Muhafazats  of Lebanon.

Kfarmelki is 58 kilometers (36.0412 mi) away from (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is 420 meters (1378.02 ft - 459.312 yd) above sea level. Kfarmelki surface stretches for 673 hectares (6.73 km² - 2.59778 mi²)

Population and Voters

Kfarmelki has a population of about 5500 people half residing in the town and the other half mainly works and lives in Beirut and the suburbs, currently 1305 resides in the town (estimation). In the last municipal Lebanese elections of 2004, its accounted 4502 registered voters of which 2448 actual voters.

Local Authorities and Skills

The municipality have an elected municipal council for 6 years, composed of 15 members. Its has administrative and financial independence but remains under the control and supervision of the central government.
